Excavation and site prep. Ready for the inspector.
Foundations and footings, utility trenches, septic systems, stormwater drainage and finish grading, for homeowners and contractors alike. We work out site access and where the spoil goes before the first bucket comes out of the ground.
Excavation work in Houtzdale, Philipsburg, Clearfield, Altoona, Hollidaysburg, and Tyrone.

What we dig
Foundations and footings
Excavation for new builds and additions, cut to the footprint and the depth the plans call for, with the subgrade left ready for the footer crew.
Utility trenching
Trenches dug to line and grade for utility runs, then bedded and backfilled once the line is in and the ground put back over top.
Septic installation
Tank and system excavation, set, backfilled, and the yard brought back so the only thing left showing is the lid.
Stormwater and drainage
Swales, stone channels and outfalls shaped to carry runoff away from the building and off the property instead of into it.
Site grading
Cut and fill to the elevations the job needs, whether that is a level building pad or a yard that finally sheds water the right way.

How the job runs
Access is planned first
How the machines get in, where they turn around and what they cross is worked out before anything starts, so the drive and the lawn that are staying take as little damage as they can.
The spoil has somewhere to go
Dirt out of the hole is stockpiled for backfill, spread on site, or hauled off. Which one is decided in advance rather than after it is sitting in the middle of your yard.
Graded for the inspection
We grade to the elevations the plan asks for and check the finish before we pull off, so the site is clean, compliant and ready for the next trade.
